NOT TRUE
by B Shah on Jul 04, 2006 02:49 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

a) VP Singh rode on the wave of anti-Rajiv hysteria due to his playing the Bofors card. He never delivered on the subject. I dont mean, there was nothing substatial in the Bofors allegations. What I mean is that he let the country down.

b) He is the one who re-started the class divide and played the Mandal card. Very distructive. He got cheap, short term, political gains but destryoyed national harmony and character.
