SCRUTINY BEFORE APPROVING VISA
by J.N.Mahanty on Jan 31, 2006 09:08 PM   Permalink

This is ALARMING!

When the Country is witnessing terrorist Attack in every nook and Corner and the needle of Conspiracy always points towards Pakistan, it is unthinkable that a Patriotic Govt(?) could afford to sit tight on this serious matter.
If 5000 Pakis who entered into India, are untraceble, then why the Govt has not stopped issuing Visas, till the missing persons are traced out. It does not make sense to go for more Bus/train movements between the two countries, as India is always a loser.

While granting Entry Visa, Indian Govt should obtain proper Police verification of the Applicant\'s Indian Contact, before considering approval of Visa.
Further the Indian Contact has to submit a Form of Guarrantee, for the return of his Paki Guest within the stipulated time, failing which the property of the so called Indian Contact shall be attached by the Govt.
This process may take some extra time, but it is worth spending extra time considering the National Security. At any rate there shall be no \'Compromise\' when the National Security is at stake.
