Could he have ensured parliamentary democracy? Knowing his extremist views and stubborn nature that is more notorious than Nehru, I am not very sure if we would have been a democracy at all.

Dear Raj, It seems u have not read anything worthwhile about Netaji. Please read atleast his speaches available on NET. U will realise that he respected and practiced democratic values throuout his life. He surely have stablished Democracy in our country but with a difference. And that is there maight be no place for tratiors and sycophants. Our voice does not go unnoticed in the world community and we may not be treated as a soft state. His dream was revolution in India, which was on the verge of it in 1940's, and the only need of that time was to push it. He wanted not a dictator but a strong party serve the nation(Not rule the nation).
