Karnataka has always been a congress bastion and this time the bjp and jds got so many votes because the monsoons were poor and the farmer was unhappy. In the concluded elections the congress swept both bangalore north and south. Banagalore will always be a congress stronghold because were not a useless state such as rajasthan or gujarat or madhya pradesh governed by the bjp.
