K'take Congress
by Yashwant on Jan 19, 2006 12:13 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The current government does not deserve a recovery. Its been 20 months and I hardly see them standing up to the need of the hour.

I do not understand why constructing a flyover should take years to complete. The pace of work for all the projects is pathetic.

I do not understand how can Sindhia make a statement that hue and cry over Bangalore roads is invalid because software companies do not have reservation policy for localites.

I do not understand Devegowda's anti- IT stand. Possibly he thinks anti-IT is pro-poor which I do not comprehend well. I can hardly recall anything coming out of Devegowda that helps poor.

I do not recall any infrastructure projects deadline being met.

Karnataka being one of the highest taxed state. I do not understand where does all the money go.

Wish somebody could help me understand that.

It is not to say that I am convinced new JD-BJP coalition will do it better. It is just that JD-Congress has surely failed and in the absence of any better alternative they need to give way to new coallition.

hope you havent read recent statements by Dharam Singh...It was the contractors lobby that was delaying the work...Dharam was aiming all round development of Karantaka as against the bangalore centered approach of previous govts...and that gave them good rewards as it was very visible to the press and the opinionated ppl who live in bangalore...
