Why balochistan is burning
by RANGARAJAN on Jan 25, 2006 04:56 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

This only shows that history repeats itself and in this case quite fast. The Punjabi dominated pakistani army which was responsible for creating Bangladesh is back to its old ways of oppression and feudal supression. This time around the Balochis are determined since they have realised how little they have gained despite being the backbone for pakistan's energy and economy.

This time the Balochis if reports are correct will have the last laugh. Both sides are preparing for the worst and in this we have a huge opportunity for what the pakistanis did to us in Afghanistan and by instigating the Islamic terrorists in our East.

India should extend active support to the Balochis who like the Afghans are our natural allies. This will also take the heat away from Kashmir and keep the pakistani army busy for next 6 months by which time we can solve the kashmir issue through a combination of weakening Pakistan ecnonomically.Pakistan should be made to realise that if they play the kashmir card we will play the Baluch card openly. We only hope Newdelhi do not let go this opportunity like they did in the case of Sind.Hope M.K.Narayanan gets his plans correct.
