From Kerala Chief Minister's statement it looks that The Central Government has not done anything concrete for the welfare of the Indians who go abroad basically in search of a livelihood. Is this the reason that Malayalees group together, Gujarathis group together in foreign lands and witness the Indians stay in different groups such as Telugu speaking Andhra Indians, Gujarathi speaking Indians and Madrasis etc.
If you look at the ste-wise statistics, keralites contribute to the maximum number of NRI population. Taken together with the low number of karalites (3.2 Crores) in comparison to Gujrat (5.1 crores) or Andhra (7.6 crores), the pecentage of NRI keralites is so high that in some districts, there is ATLEAST one NRI member. This is not the case in any other part of India. Moreover, these people are manuel labourers, and not good enough to communicate and convince the authorities in any other language excepet malayalam, making the unification mandatory for every regular keralite worker, especially in the midle east. One more thing, who told that there are no Gujrati, or Andhra groups among the NRI population ?? Please think for a while against your arguments as well before posting it !
