marrying an NRI
by Ranjan Arora on Jan 07, 2006 06:11 AM   Permalink

there are few wise things in the article about marrying.
but i thing dear writer forgot that even NRI is human being and people who are living in overseas are much more sensitive and civilized when it comes to exploitation and harressment of one's own wife.
one or two cases like those doesnt make an NRI chracter assicnation which the article depicts.
although if something has to go wrong in a marriage , it does happen in any part of the world.
it is such a shame that even with high quality education and all the best understanding of life , people in IND get their daugthers married to pay packets not to the actual guy.
NRi still give greater importance to their cultural values , otehrwise they wont be getting married in IND.
probably be best suggestion to anyone who thinks the way writer wants , needs to live in overseas and he will come to conclusion that society here is much much more civilized.
some one said it rightly , half knowledge is really dangerous thing..
