Reservation: a hinderance to development
by Ankit on Jan 05, 2006 08:30 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Reservation is nothing but a hinderance to the development of nation. why dont these politicians think to improve the efficiency of real downtrodden people. Why dont they think of improving the standard of living of poor people as a whole rather than thinking on cast basis and providing reservation.
They should insist on giving free education, free training to all poor and destitute people, rather than providing reservation on cast basis...
But only to raise vote they do all mischiefs..
Shame on India. Shame on Indian Politics.
Reservation is nothing but a process to ignore talent and also to stop talent to emerge.

i am fully satsfied with you.But if there is no reservation to 1984 punjab riots or bengal riots then what u say is it the equality.Dont think that i m suffered from any of the riots but i think if some one suffered by any cause then reservations in education is right. It shows that Government is with those people. They care them. Also the millitary quata and the freedom fighter quata is also right. The family of the millitary members also suffers.I think for freedom fighter reservation you have no oppsition because freedom fighters earned it.so friend i m ajay sapehia 18 m distt hoshiarpur(punjab).studing in pec(punjab engineering college ) chandigarh.bye

india can't develop until it recovered from the problems like reservation . reservation is not a solution to solve the prblems like uneducation or unemployment . Originally it is done for the poor & needy people but i haven't seen any needy person in any educational institution who is getting the education on the category seat . these r only used by those persons who r rich or don't have the stydying skills . due to these persons there r so many intelligent persons who left from getting the seats in their dream institutes . now in the large institutions the seats are not given on inteklligence basis but given on the basis of the categaory . due to the reservation many persons in the category left from getting the seats even if there r some blank seats . reservation is not done to help the people it is only to mismorise the general public to getting their vates in elections . these politicians to save their seats , is destroying the future of new generation .
we can not develop untill our government is in safe hands who will not use the future the youth for saving his seat .

due to the various reasons in our country the lower caste people are not able to compete the talented, the so called upper caste people.if reservations are not there, the very few people going to higher education, higher posts will surely be not there.think in a different angle.
