1. Concentrate on transparent Internal democracy. Uma Bharati's expulsion smacks of dictatorial culture, not maintenance of discipline in the party. She is a rare leader. BJP must know how to bring out the best in her. That is good leadership. Merit and performance should be rewarded in a transparent manner.
2. Be consistent in your messages. Then and then only they create conviction. Be it Ayodhya, art 370, other BJP issues, social issues, important to your constituency.
3. Insist on true secularism as defined in the Constitution and approved by legal rulings. Highlight any discrepancy, or weakness in the Constitution and its application.
4. Insist on supremacy of regional languages in each state in education, and of both English and Hindi equally at the Center. States cannot be run efficiently if state language is neglected.
5. Give high priority to computer usage in national languages so that the poor and even uneducated have access to information.
6. Develop stable coalitions.
7. Highlight and initiate all policies related to the poor, dalits/SC/ST, and minorities.
8. Expose repeatedly mischief of opposition, especially Congress.
