NPT irrelevant to India
by CS Muralidhar on Feb 27, 2006 12:50 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

India has never been a proliferator of Nuclear technology. It has developed its own technology by the intelligence and hard work of its own scientists & engineers. Moreover India has safe-guarded its know-how immaculately. It is US,China,Britain & France (in that order) who are the worst proliferators.US aided Israel,China passed on to Pak & N.Korea, and Britain & France to the apartheid regime of S.Africa.So these blackguards have no moral right to ask India to tow the illegitimate NPT line.In fact, the time has come for India to declare its clear intention of building its arsenal of a few tens of thousands of N-tipped warheads pointing to strategic targets in China,Pak,N.Korea, and certain other Arab states who have evil designs on India.

Unfortunately, India has the misfortune of being governed by corrupt politicians who have no qualms about even selling the country wholesale for their personal profit and pelf.
