They can't even be innovative - in perspective or strategy, they are just doing low grade mimicry. It is despicable! If every instance of irreverance is silenced, if all gods are as feeble as the Olympians, if witches (and Brunos) have to be burned at stake, if creativity has to be prostituted to city fathers' dogma, if (the worst of) culture has to be only defended ( and not created), the world (and hindu world as well as any other such world) will sink into greaveyard medievalism (as it has in certain quarters) where (wo)man will suffocate to a spiritual death and philosophical emaciation. And be sure, the society will not survive either as imagined - from the tyranny of Zeus to that of Stalin, that is the lesson of history
