There is no Protection for Minorities in Pakistan
by J.N.Mahanty on Feb 17, 2006 06:40 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Bhagwan Das said that Law in Pakistan provides equal treatment and equal protection to all citizens, irrespective of religion.

I think, his statement may be true only in words, and not in reality.

It may be noted that after Partition, there were about 8% Hindus in Pakistan while today the Hindus constitute hardly 2 % of the total population of Pakistan. Perhaps this drastic reduction is the direct result of \\\"Equal treatment and equal protection\\\" being provided by Pakistan.
