Enslaved in our own Land
by kashmiri@heart on Feb 10, 2006 06:44 PM   Permalink

Some cartoons published in newspapers in Denmark in September 2005, managed to incite enough violence and protests across the Muslim World, that too after 4 months. It is obvious that there were underhanded elements responsible for probing this story after 4 months. However, in India, no one wants to raise even a small cry after something that comes as a complete insult to the Mahatma and many Indians alike.

The media will talk about Gujarat, but Sikh riots and Kashmiri Pandit plight are not looked into even after 20 years. As for the Government, the Congress is truly amazing in licking the feet of outsiders. An astounding piece of slavery without physical subjugation. Kudos to the Congress!

Even they should be ashamed that they have let down the Mahatma - who was a big supporter of the Congress, and responsible for their coming to power anyway. The Congress Party has managed to bow down to Saud and will do so to Bush (I wonder if such crudeness does truly come from the amount of 'crude oil' that will soon vanish from the sandy pieces of lands) Its Non-Renewable - 'Science and Geology', oh wait - guess that is something that may be 'against belief' as well.
