Beyond Surinder
by Rajeev Bansal on Dec 31, 2006 05:28 AM   Permalink

The Noida serial killer news does not seem to highlight the police officers who ignored their duty to the extent that they share significant part in the crime. I am in medical profession and if this level of negligence happens in our profession, it will not count as negligence but will amount to man slaughter. I am amused why there is no demand to transfer the case to CBI so an external agency can look at grievances of numerous parents against police.
The poor parents of these children need much more help from media than many other recent cases. This is one of the most heinous crimes I can remember in my lifetime and the criminal is not Surinder but the system that failed to take notice of it for such a long time. Do you think media can help to find the real culprit?
