Why is there such a hue and cry for acquisition of land at singur ? It was the govt of west bengal that had promised the 1000 acres land to the TATAs and in return the land loosers are getting handsome compenstation for the same as well as a job in the factory, what else do they want? Has anybody calculated what type of job oppurtunities will come up in west bengal after the project starts, how many people will get employment. just imagine 2000 employees and their families all put together 10000 people will be able to feed their stomach. In addition to other indirect industries that will come up due to the project. The farmers are getting good compenstation and they are not at all against the project but it is the trinamool congress which seems to be attached to another leading passenger car maker and doing all this in agreement with them. Hence it is now upto the people of WB whether they welcome industrialisation or deny their entry. In contradiction to this many other states have already offered red carpet to the TATAs. It is the high time that people of WB understand the need of industrialisation and prosperity that will follow.
If TATAs move out of WB then this will be the biggest black spot on the people of WB. TATAs are poplular for their non-exloitation image and the same shall be identified by the people of WB. If the compensation provided by TATAs is projected as exploitation then beleive me no other industrial house will ever eye to WB.

Correct. Most farmers are not against TATa. Even those who refused to sell their land do not want TATA to go away. This is politics. Although TATa can give a little more money and jobs and shares in the new company ( others did that in West Bengal, they have no problem).

This is all politics of Mamata DIDI. It does not look like she is in fast !! It is really a shame for West Bengal. A great opportunity is going out. This will have big effect in other companies as well. So all the people of West Bengal start taking trainings from farmers. Otherwise in the age of Mamata DIDI, you will be jobless.

Now what? Mamta ke lal. Mamta is utter oppurtunist. A narrow minded political leader. The shunning of the Nano will have far reaching effech to future of the west bengal. Let me tell this author one thing, political adulation is one thing and to know the fate of the people is other thing.
To plaster your own thought as the universal truth is proselytization. West Bengal has lost atleast 2 years in term of industrial development. Consider the Bengal got independence on 15 Aug 1949. Now work back annotate all the development of the bengal according to this postulate. It true the industrial development is not only precursor of the Development. But it take the big chuck of share of the development.
I am expressing this view because I am a guy from the village. The destruction of the economy of the village is utter nonsense. The village economy that exits in most villages is something is reflection of the pricely state of the economy. The charming rustic life of village is just romantic language. Life of village is actually hardship, depends lots on nature. And when farmers have land of very small size its nightmare. Considering my thinking If any industry comes to my village, offer me a good compensation and Job security, I will accept it whole heartedly.
I have lots to say to Mamta personally. She might become the cheif minister of the WB very soon. When she will be, she will regret this decision forever.

Have the Tatas garunteed job to a single local farmer who lost their land?Let them do that first and then talk about 3000 jobs.
