''Dalit'' Should replaced by ''Ambedkarite'' Or ''Buddhist''
by Takshak on Dec 22, 2006 07:43 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

A Man of wisdom and a man who has walked down a long difficult path to achieve this top most position is a symbol and representation of A movement started and guided and showed by Bodhisattva Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
He is a true follower of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and hence we should say that he is an "Ambedkarite" rather than putting him at the clutches of Hindu Narak. He is no more part of that in-equality religion. He is a part of Buddhist Religion and hence he is Buddhist or Ambedkarite and no more Dalit.
Please change the title of the news.
Thanks

Your views seem to be totally flawed.

I just dont think that Justice KGB is a Buddhist or Ambedkarite. Though belonging to the dalit community, the Justice was born in an area which was academically very rich many centuries ago. I believe that except for certain petty tribes still living in forests, most of the dalits in Kerala are either worshipping the same Hindu gods that the upper caste worship or are converted Christians. Ambedkar is hardly a draw in Kerala...so do I feel.
