I vehemently object to the expression as" the first Dalit" to Jusice KN Balakrshnan's appointment news as CJI. Please define the word, Dalit and you will know what you are speaking .. I cannot understand that the BCs(deprived class. you mean) are described as such when .,the forward looking people are wanting the discrmination to go and the less disinction is made between the set or class of our Indian People,mark you..

I totally agree with you. I don't know why these media people even have to publish such article and use word like "dalit". Just as the americans don't use the word Black in front of the African American people or the "N-word" because its offensive, Indians should avoid using such words that are totally offensive to these people. This is jsut going to divide the bonds between us. I think the reason the Intergrity in India is declining is not just because of the Politicians, but also the media such as News channels, Press reporters and internet websites like rediff.com. I don't know when will Indians learn to respect others religions and castes and have courtesy towards them. After all, we are the largest democracy, but we don't have a SINGLE good road in the country to even walk on. Such types of articles are reason and responsible for country's undeveloped parts.

I support ur views that the caption should not b n this way 2 describe such an eminent personality...but u c Mr. Balasundar...atlast u also fell into the same nasty thinking by mentioning he is the first malayalee....ha!! ha!! ha!! am ashamed of u......
