INDO-US Neuclear Deal

Plz. conve my congratulations to the Author. A brilliant analysis and impassionate at that.

It is no time to score debating points. It's a grave issue involving future of the Country. It's just unimaginable that the US, whose foreign policy options invariably hinge around economic/business calculations, is so eager to ink an agreement of cooperation with India for economic betterment of the latter!

After having read this master piece and the speech of Arun Shouri in Rajya Sabha, I firmly believe, our neuclear options are now going to be shackles with the full contro with the US.

India has the potential to match or even overtake US in economic field in not a very distant future. This has unnerved that Country. It can't afford to have two powerful Asean adversaries like India and Chaina.

I, had doubted some foul-intention of the US, when a Statesman like Vajpyee opposed the deal. He is not petty minded politician to oppose anything per say. Now the clouds are removed.

Doc. should be magnanimous - and he can be - not to huury through the deal without complete unanimity accross the political specrum.
