totally inhuman act
by nethaji lakshmanan on Dec 20, 2006 10:40 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

i accept this is totally an inhuman act,but i dont know why the people in north america behave like this.i have a friend from northamerica(USA)when he went to brazil he just took his flight and landed there,he is not having his visa to land in brazil, when the immigration officals queried him he said he thought he dont need a visa to go to brazil because he is having US passport.he was deported immediately.

This shows an example what is US peoples knowledge abt travelling to foriegn countries. Is US passport so powerful one.if it is why these people are getting deported. They should check thier travel agencies and respective embassies before they board their flight.

Actually, the US has a visa-waiver agreement with lots of countries. People from these countries don't need a visa to come to the US and US citizens don't need a visa to go to these countries. Your friend should have checked if Brazil is on the list.

Ya people like you congradulate officials until it happens to you.Last year when I was travelling to US from kochi, immigration officials look at my pasport and told you have a problem, you dont have ICNR Stamp(Immigration clearence not required)on the passport.Infact US govt does'nt have any such requirement (only gulf countries insist) still this fellow was behaving ackwardly. He did'nt let me go for half an hour until I said to him,i dont mind cancelling my trip but I'll make sure you'll suffer legally if not illegally.

Just to ask you a question why cant they could not have treated there indian brothers as guest. If they can treat french ppl as guest why not NRI's. Mistake happen, and some ppl were talking US authorities are harsh on brown skin, but they do give you enough oportunities to get your paper back and nto send it back like that....
