Let's see...old passport, no visa, no PIO card. What was he thinking?? Did he escape from some war-ravaged country? He had all the time to prepare for a vacation, but obviously did not see the need to spend time or money on Indian visas for his children. Why? Because they are American citizens and can waltz into any country? They totally deserved what they got. Their country would probably get me into Guantanamo first and then think about deporting me later if I landed up on their shores without a visa!
As for the children...oh come on! They are going back to their relatives in the US on an aircraft of an international carrier. Oh the horror!
Let us put things in perspective and applaud the Indian immigration officials who are at last realizing that rules cannot be bent.
As for the racism charges, leave it in the US will you? Don't bring that garbage into India.
