Hopefully these politicians will get the message right. Just by creating rosy picture on one side they divide the country and then don't let any development to happen as well. This article 341 is ridiculous.. If u are backward.. that's ok but if u r only a hindu backward and not muslim or christian or any other backward then only u'll be helped to get out of backwardness. Just plain ridiculous.. I can't believe this is in our constitution!! Moreover education for everyone is what the country needs and not plain old stupid talking and fighting between political parties.. which further create differences amongst citizens
Article 341 makes perfect sense

Christians and Muslims trumpet that there is no upper/lower caste in their system. So when a person is Christian or Muslim then he/she is at the same social level as others. Hindu system is Suppose to have upper/lower caste so it needs to be straightened out (at least that is the theory). So article 341 makes perfect sense and Christians and Muslims should NOT be eligible for reservation.
If economic status is the criteria then all poor people should be included including Brahmins.
I hope this blows over and the whole quota system is scrapped. That day will be the true Independence Day for India.
