North Indian Muslims and South Indian Muslims story
Oh God!!! The gap is not only with muslims of south and north but with whole indians.
and one more thing. somewhat, muslims of north living got converted in mugal period whereas the southern living are later while/after british rule. the south have touch of their nativity.

Did you said "Influence of upper caste hindus in south"? I dont know what do you mean. But even a recent study from US says, states like TN has prolonged because of abosrpting all communities with in it. There is no'one' rule there.

There is no'one' rule there. >>> If you are not sure what I said, then do you see any reason why only Dravidian parties like AIADMK and DMK comes to power in Chennai, not BJP or Congress? Except Karnataka( That too, a coalition govt) No south Indian state had BJP government. That's the reason there is communal harmony and growth in South India. Which recent study are you referring to? They study many things and if you think US studies has so much credibility, just read the California State's school books on History and Religion....see what they have told about Hinduism. Still I agree with you. There is no ONE rule their. That's what we muslims want, no ONE rule. But parties like BJP doesn't likes that idea....
