Sir, It was strange to find still in India some people are leading and supporting voilent ways of protests. The article seems to be written with a bit biased mindset illustrating only the one side of the problem and merely focussed on the quantitative results. e.g. recruitment in the govt., reservation in pvt sector. Some possibility that enough talent was not avlbl to implement the schemes should also be given due concern as just hiring on the basis of headcount may unstabilise the system itself.

Reservations are legislative (not judicial or society) response to historical social evils to certain sections of the society. Government should scrap reservations when 85% of marriages in India are inter-caste or inter-religious.
