In today's age & generation of competition the actual reasons why dalits are supposed to be "discriminated" is not bcoz of their caste but becoz they have undue legal benefits (reservations) in the name of being low - caste.
Abolish reservations & the other sections of society will automatically accpet the "dalits" as equals.
in fact doing away with reservations for dalits will actually benefit them in the long run bcoz they will learn to be more competent.
right now their dependency on reservation has actually made them lazy & callous (with the exception of a few people)
mr. udit raj has said "... dalits are emotional & follow their leadrs even if they mislead...." - very true - mr. udit raj himself seems to be one of those leaders

Reservations are legislative (not judicial or society) response to historical social evils to certain sections of the society. Government should scrap reservations when 85% of marriages in India are inter-caste or inter-religious.
