Musharraf knows the real deadly reasons for this...
by Gururaj on Aug 29, 2006 08:08 PM   Permalink

There is definitely something fishy in this whole arrest - release - rearrest business. Musharraf is very clever and he probably knows the Lashkar chief was upto something real deadly against USA or England. Otherwise, there is no real reason for re-arrest. The reasons have not been told to the court, meaning the Pak establishment does not want the outside world to know it. However, it is really something serious to mandate immediate re-arrest.

If he had stayed outside either he could have carried out some major terrorist act or may have caught Musharraf off-guard with some serious internal act. It definitely has no real India related reasons. By keeping him in jail, two things are achieved. One, he is help incommunicado, thus preventing any activity. Two, the world will not know what really was this man upto.

Cam one expect the American establishment to remain silent spectator? They probably know the reason and have silently managed to 'convince' Musharraf to act.
