First of all the article is seriously biased and unilateral. How can you expect a backward class person to compete with a person who has solid background be it societal, financial, castewise. One should remember in Indian context merit is also a reservation, for the fact that the merit for certain classes is backed by hundreds of years of societal support. The great Indian mindset is always inherently biased as far as the caste is concerned.
