I share Rajat Narang's resistance to today's reservations. BUT reservation could be a good thing, if it was meant to support those "deserving" kids trying to get some education and find a job, regardless of their family's poor financial and educational background. Well, it may slightly affect the quality of the workforce we deliver from schools. But, imagine, what it could do to our nation, if all those today's poor families had an educated, earning member in the next few years. But, yes, the reservation quota should also not be too excessive. So, I think, we can live without some 15-20% of seats in job or schools, knowing it is for the cause of our country, an investment for the future India.
