You can view reservation from one angle and find many faults with it. If you belonged to backward caste you would know the true value of reservation. The truth is that we still consider backward caste people backward (take marriage, business tie ups etc). To wash this from our minds takes time. We need to reserve quotes for these backward caste people to come forward, so that in say 50 years from now they gain respect. Trust me, most of the people abroad are upper-class people. Take any dance or cultural clubs in United States, you will find about 90% kids belonging to upper caste. The truth is that the upper caste has succeeded in past and now they donât want the lower caste to raise or gain any respect. So they create these stupid one sided stories. You need to clearly see the past and make assertions about the present or future. Regarding Indian cricket team, well if you spoke to me some 50 years back, only upper caste will be allowed to play that game. Again in bollywood, say some 50 years back only upper caste men and women could act, they wont even let a lower caste come close to a play. So step back and state facts and truths correctly.

hey... i wonder where you got all those stories.do you have anything to substantiate your claims. Reservation has been on for the last 59 years and if you still think that people need reservation, then reservation isn't a solution! Its a change in mindset. and don't paint a picture of pre-independence. Things have improved a lot and will gradually become even better. Think of it: 47.5 % resvn. means 52% resvn in the open category and 100% for 'under privileged'. So what is effectively happening is you are taking away the right of a person in general category to secure sound education! So even if he suffers from social prejudices including location, economic backwardness etc. he has to contain himself with whatever he has. Isn't that stupid? nobody is against reservation, but against the basis of reservation.

Yes, here is the reason. The people like you are destryoing INDIA. you nonsense, do you think that intelligence is based on caste? Reservations should be given to Economically backward classes, who really need them. let the guy be from Upper cast or lower cast. and for your kind information, we won't treat Backward classes as backward class. we never asked our friend from which cast he is. You yourself are treating as a backward class.

I fully agree. This protagonist of reservation is a fool. If 59 years of reservation did not help, it is like Bramha could not straighten the tail of a dog even in 100 years. Inspite of all facilities being given from primary education level if one could not qualify, he has no right to make a forced back door entry.

Agreed, before 50 years there was difference in upper caste and lower caste people. But before 50 years also there was reservations in india.if the condition is not improved in 50 years, how do you expect it to be improved in the next 50 years? as per ST/SC is concerned ,i agreed that they need reservation. But this time it is OBC.Most of the OBC here are already qualified and rich.SO why reservation for them. There are many places in the government services where seats for SC/ST people remain unfilled. As no candidates available for that.that is because the lack of primary education.one of my friend is selected in an enterance exam only because at that time she was only one SC candidate applied for that post and there was 15 seats for SC/ST, so rest 14 remained unfilled. The qualification for that position only higher secondary. It shows that there is problem in primary education only.If they will provided with primary education they won't need reservations, they themselves can qualified. As you r talking about the respects to them, obviously if any SC/SC/OBC are if selected by their own strength, they will get more respect. That time none of his colleage will say,'Hey He comes from Quota'
