What Vande Mataram means to you?.....Wel it may give fascinating feeling for a hindu to Sing this song as it mean " I put Down my head in Front of Bharat mata".As in Islam it is against rule even to pronounce it.We are not permitted to put down our head infront of this idols! In my view it is a baseless song to be as national song of India as india is the country many religions...We dont have any regret to sing "Sarejaha se achcha"..why cant this song be our national song??...

vande mataram means i worship the mother. only a true patriot can see the country as a mother. are people opposed to singing this saying that "this is not my mother land". are they living in india on a contract basis. the problem is islam is a religion that does not have roots over here. the parsis, the sikhs, the budhists, the jews, even the christians do not have this problem. why is shahi imam cynical? when abdul kalam can say vande mataram, why can you? asfqullah, maulana abul kalam, abdul hamid, irfan pathan, zaheer khan, are they not bonafide muslims. the very song vande mataram was made popular by a r rehman a devout muslim. the shahi imam has started playing his dangerous game of divide and rule

Vante Mataram means " I bow Mother". It is true that muslim never bow even the mother or father. If any body does not want to salute this country irrespective or religion they can get out from this country. Please you can go whereever your veiws are accepted. Dont sit here and support terrorism!
You are living in India and better to live like a true Indian rather than fingering in every issue on the basis of some religious points.
When it comes to taking advantage of some government policies like reservation, they say they are Indians, other wise they call themselves as Muslims!!!
What the hell is this???? Grow up man....... I do not know what is happening in Hindustan...... Population is growing exponentially but people can not use contraceptives just because their religion does not allows them to do so, as if in other religions it was specified for others to use contraceptive with exception for some religions. When it comes to sing our very Indian song "Vande Matram" people can not sing because again their religion does not permits them. When it comes to build a police station on some government land, it can not be developed just because the land is in front of some religious building.........so on....
So, the ultimate thing which appears from all such issues is that for some religions or for some so called very religious people Country is nothing they are only "X" religion.......they do not call themselves as Indian......SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE...

All I gather from your message is that you people are only faithfull towards your religion and not for the country. If small things like singing a National song would hurt your feelings then probably in the future being faithful to India since it is dominated by Kafirs"in your terms" would hurt Islam. Please shift to some other country and spare us from your filth.

Well Mr. Kareem. First try to understand this. The song is not forcing you to "put your head down" in front of anybody. The song "Vande Mataram" only speaks about paying respect to your mother. Do you say "Assalam Walekum" to your elders? Does it go against your religious belief to do that? If not, then it is the same feeling that "Vande Mataram" talks about. Paying respect to your motherland (mother of all of us), because you were born here, you were raised here, Mother India nurished you and nurtured you. Would you be so thankless not to say Salaam Walekum to your mother who was so kind to you?
