It is high time that all indians realise that politicians leave nothing to exploit. and patriotism is no exception.
If some politician said that the national song has to be recited, and if some politicians criticise the same, then i think, both of them should be shot dead, for making a joke of the national song.
of all these, what purpose does the imam have in criticising the national song. people like these should be thrown out of the country, as it is a sheer mockery of the greatness of the freedom fighters and the country.it is like spitting venom on our mother. i urge all true indians to condemn acts like these and people who indulge in such acts.

Indians have religous freedom. People can voluntarily change thier beliefs in this country. But religion and religious leaders should never be allowed to rise to a higher influence than national integrity and security. Irrespective of what religion you are, no Priest, Imam or whoever is considered as religious leaders should decide or influence anything of National perception and patriotism except positively. Also people of all religions should realise that religious leaders and politicians are people like us. Everyone makes mistakes and have bias and narrow perceptions based on their history and factors influencing them. Religious books were also written by people only in a previous period who had their perceptions. Religions and beliefs are sourced in civilisations around the world. Humans needed Religion and God in many soceities to establish moral and social harmony and to coexist.
Do not let some books or some people or your religion dictate what you want or what u believe. Cause this is not who you are... this is who you feel you are based on your imposed views and analysis. Believe or not in God, but think, speak and act as a human who coexists with diverse beliefs.
