Hi, I read all your messages. Valid points made. But do you think, talking alone will achieve anything. Corrupt politicians, corrupt Bureaucracy..Everybody from top to down are corrupt. They are buying property, locking tons of money in Bank, investing tons of money in share market, mutual funds, insurance(bad aspect of unplanned liberalization). And god knows what else. A class-mate of mine from the engineering college is a JE in the telecom dept. of a POST office. He couldn't get job elsewhere, but got a junior engineer job through bribes. He makes 10-20 lakhs every year. Imaging, there will be other JEs and then senior officers. Work up to the top, and your heart will cry. It is just a post office. India is a vast country, and if you do the arithmatic, the money will just run into billions and billions.
I'm from IT industry. We are getting good money. My colleauges and the other people i know from IT industry are going mad about real state. They are buying property like anything as if they have nothing else to do. Giving blood once in a year to red-cross don't make us great. Imagine india's population in another 25 years. -Continued
