This is right time india should emulate the formula like independant automomy to tamil people without harming the integrity of srilanka.If india does not act in time there are chances that either pakistan or china or US may intervene in this conflict which will turn against india security.In the past srilanka played cleverly and trapped india without assuring anything only to crush LTTE to use our fellow army men to finish LTTE and later on they joined with LTTE to send IPKF off from their territory.India should not give any military aid to srilanka unless they are serious about solving the problem with mutual benifit of tamil and singalese and muslims.

This is a political problem and Sri Lankan administration needs to show acceptance to some package, like federal model in India or something else. Till that time India will not jump into mess, with no end in sight.
Right now Sri Lankan president seem to be hardliner and try to more rely on military. He has to see that all aspiration of its people are met politically .
