Why I won't live among Hindus
by Anuj on Apr 11, 2006 12:47 PM   Permalink

Dear Mr. Ashraf,

Very sad to note the points highlighted by your good self.

All this while we delhi (right I'm in Dubai) people thought of mumbai as being a very accomodating place... but the concerns mentioned by you prove it otherwise.

With your profile at rediff.. you can easily look for a job in Delhi or maybe join the rediff office in Delhi (easiest way out).

Yes but the treatment you have received is not entirely without a reason... I have no incilnation to get into a blame game or side with anyone. But the point to be noted is that it is the silence on the part of the liberla/moderate muslims that has led us the country to this point. All communities today have a problem but in varying proportions. For the myths & hype of extreme attached to the muslims... it is imperative that people like you & many others unite & take a stand to clear the misconceptions.

I know this is no easy task & a lot has to be seen thru to make it happen... but-but-but... its not IMPOSSIBLE. Fundamental change/revolution in the life of one eprson can effect a change in the society as a whole.

Please feel free to write back if you have the time & the incilnation.

Regards
Anuj
