Hi Dear Friend, I am sorry to read your view, it might be a tru story which happend with you, but that's not at all the real feelings all over india. You should know that your this type of letter will create more & more gap between muslim and non-muslim. If someone talks about muslim being in main-stream or secularism in india, so I want them to know - This contry has a Muslim President, Sikh Prime Minister, A Cristian Most worful lady ( sonia gandhi ), that too in a country where majority is hindu. I myself belong to Aligarh, where I have seen Hindu-Muslim riots before my eyes, its not that Hindu burn muslim people's house, it vice-versa also. But the point is that This is not a general phenomenum, but wrong doing of some people or some political games. I still know hindu people, who save muslim people & vice-versa. So Please in future, before writing such article, think not 2 times but 100 times as what good you are doing to any single individual in this beautiful contry. India is on the grow in every aspect of life. please don't try to pull it back with these small thinking issues..

If majority Indians are hindus and the President and Sonia are non-hindus, who elected them?
I would assume, it's hindus. Why?
Post of President is powerless, and when Sonia was ready to become prime minister, Hindu gangsters were instantly against that. Hindu women were even ready to shave their hair off to oppose that.

You are absolutely correct when you say the trend in India is for everybody to hate everybody else! People are very, very highly insecure and don't trust anybody. There is a huge mutual distrust based on everything from religion, caste, sect, sub-sect, money, landholdings, colour (different shades of browns!!) and anything that can be a reason enough to destroy and butcher each other!! All fighting each other and trying to bring each other as down as possible! Like roaches.

Even in north india's delhi it is punjabi vs non pujabis, then within punjabis , it is refugee punjabis vs rest of punjabis, then rest of the pujabis vs sikhs, wihin sikhs it is khatris vs non khatris, then again refugess vs jats , then jat vs bhoprais, then agisn one with diff sort of pagres etc etc et...
But the problem is that only muslims will start beating chest and shouting that its happening because the are muslim. (remember Azahar)

You are talking about caste system moving away from main topic.People may belong to different castes but they have no problem when someone from other caste is their neighbour.Can you pls help this country by convincing ur fellow hindus to change their mindset and work for upliftment and integration of poor muslims. Donot compare what muslims are doing in other countries as those donot have secular constitution.
