RE:Why I won't live among Hindus
by Krishna on Apr 11, 2006 12:33 PM   Permalink

The article is not objective in its approach. It suffers from onesided view of the situation.Ask a Hindu or anyone from any community and he/she would provide a similar account of experience with another community.Probably Mr.Syed Firdaus Ashraf might not have any objections to a hindu coming into his locality but there would be many others who would not think so.Such preferences exist in every community.
And to talk of mainstream and participation of communities, I would like to ask every one concerned why is it that there is no strong voice of opposition from muslim community to fundamental militancy the way 'prominent' leaders criticise supposed acts of hindu militancy.
Of late 'secular' has come to mean only Hindu bashing. Isn't MIM a communal party with its unequivocal Islamic ideology?Where are the people who criticise RSS when the time to criticise SIMI and other organizations comes?
Though my view might rake up another round of arguments,I would like every one concerned to take a holistic view of the situation and also of the origins of such unhealthy scenarios.
And finally I would like to apologise,as a Hindu and as an Indian, for all the Babri masjids and Godhras.
