I am an indian student studing in England and after reading your article, I am highly dissapointed but in a way pleased to know in a sad manner that I am not wrong in what I used to think about our indian society.
We pride ourselves about multicultural diversity but when it matters the most, we are a biggest bunch of hypocrites in the world. It is highly sad to see this attitude even in the young generation of indian students living abroad who want to forget their own culture and bathe in the glory of artificial western culture. I not only feel sad but also a bit ashamed of our mentality.
