Meerut Fire
by GSViswanathan on Apr 11, 2006 08:17 AM   Permalink

Dear Sir,

What is the use of postmortem analysis of the incident which has already ocuured with heavy loss of life and property.

PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.

In the present modern world, the life of human beings have become very cheap, so cheap it is shame to humanity. Even animals live better than human beings.

It is pennywise pound foolish, I would like to say.

Most of the organisors are interested only in their profit and not in the safety of human lives. If they get their money they are happy. They will spend lot of money for their advts etc, and what about the electric circuits (Cheap quality), security in this modern terriost and subotage age.

What security is provided against this for a common man.

Without taking initial precautions and regular rigid checkup till the function is over and the pandals are dismantled and materials despatched to their destinations, it is no use lamenting in the papers and TV news about this.

It is the responsibility of the organisors, the police, and fire brigade personals, as such things have several times repeated and lives are lost.

No use crying or sympathising. Lost is lost.

SHAME.

Sob sob.
