i don't bother to know who has written the article, WHEN WILL INDIA ROCK? you hav very well put across ur views on indians and media who fail to encourage the local talent but instead hype unnecessarily foreign talent. i completely agree that all these great musicians and singers perform in india when they are worn out. They all are talented and well renowned but we r making a mistake here by ignoring our desi talent. Be it indian rock music or classical music,who is interested?? Indian youngsters are busy aping the west and criticizing everything which is indian.Eg swades is boring.... but said that media is not to b blamed. It is a business after all. It is we indians who are responsible.If we are ashamed of ourselves and our identity what can media do? In order to be global we are trying to be westernized forgetting what we really are. If we appreciate our talent the media will do its job well. INDIA WILL ROCK ONLY IF WE BELIEVE IN OUR TALENT.
