But don't you think it is also the duty of the media, specially those people involved in music reviews to write about these bands? You guys have a lot of power, you know (I'm assuming you're a jounrnalist). But even your profession has become 'economically oriented'. Sell as many copies as possible. Command the highest price per column-inches written. Just write about these guys in big bold letters and everyone will sit up and take notice.
I had fallen in love with this number called 'Walk On' by Orange Street. But till date haven't been able to get an album (Will try again once I come back to India though). So I know what you're talking about. I'm not an expert on rock music, but I can understand good music. So go ahead you guys, write about the great Indian rock bands. They may be the biggest things yet.
