India: leader of the developing world?
by nickel on Sep 28, 2005 10:32 PM   Permalink

Again there's this nonsense about from Mr. Yechury about India being the leader of the devloping world. I live in NYC, where I meet lots of people from the developing world: Africa, Latin America, and Asia.

Nowhere have I found anyone who thinks of India as having any sort of leadership role in anything. This is a total joke. Most people in the developing world think of India as a country of strange religions and customs, that is even poorer than they are.
