Time has not come yet

I feel that there are better individuals who deserves to get Nobel Peace price than Ravi Shankar. I think this is not the time we discuss about him.

He is yet to give more to the society. Lets concentrate on those individuals who ought to have got Nobel by this time but havent got one. But still tirelessly working on upkeep of the society and peace all over the world.

Actually names will fill reams of pages. You don't become a great man by through some means (like teaching Yoga to only affluent people of the society) you accumulate lot of money and then spend the money for charity (all the time living comfortably and basking in the glory). I know of several people who have sacrificed everything that they have for the sake of others. Even if these people have touched only few, they are greater human beings because they contributed from their own meagre resources. People like Medha Patkar have struggled all their lives for the sake of downtrodden fighting Govt, press and large sections of society.
You want names, you read newspapers and acquire some knowledge. You don't get any in AOL classes. I have attended one. The guy who was teaching was not fit to teach pushups, let alone Yoga.
