The author has rightly pointed out the reasons for Sri Sri Ravi Shankar getting a Noble peace prize. Twice, I had the previlige of attending Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's discourses and those two days remain in my memory as the most peaceful.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar rightly deserves the nobel peace prize.

Sorry to say ... but ur knowledge on History is messed up. Buddishm , Shikism , Jainism all started by people who were followers of Hinduism First and then started their own religon. So they inherited all those practicies. Regarding Christianity, Judaism and Islam, I m not very sure but I dont think they meditated exclusively and have something to support in their documents.

Did somebody say 'Bharatam'. Better get YOUR facts right before berating the C-dude. The original name of India was Jamboodweepa. What C wants to say is, Yoga need not be a religous activity. It is like saying zero was invented by Hindus. No sir, inventing zero was not a religious activity. If you want to spread the virtues of Yoga to the world, spread it as Indians. After all Sri is trying (atleast he says so) to unite all religions. Nothing wrong in being proud Hindus, but nowadays we are becoming borderline cases of fanatism.
