dress code

Why short skirt is required to play tennis, example given of long skirt was in the begining of 20th century but if we talk about when Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert Lyod played in their youth their skirts were much longer than present skirts and it is becoming smaller and smaller. The speed with which the size is reducing the days are not far off when it will be difficult to tell whether its a tennis match or swimming competition.

I see no problem in wearing pants will hamper their speed other wise cricket should be played in shorts, if cricket can follow the tradition why not tennis just b'coz they want to glamourize it.

Why newspapers print only those photos of female players in which either their skirt or Tshirt going up.

Lets enjoy the game and do not make it a fashion show(where you do not understand what they are trying to show.)

The player can wear whatever is comfortable for him/her to play. Probably few decades back Indian women never used to wear dresses that would be an inch above the ankles. Now you are accepting that she can wear something upto her knees because its in ur mind that something above knees is vulgar but thats not the way things work practically.

Might be because of your narrow mentality many talented muslim girls would be sitting home wasting her life. Dont forget if a girl has skills its gifted by God and you have no right to put in ur own rules and waste that gift of life
