Being a muslim woman myself...i feel that this article is absolutely unwanted...when muslim womem can participate in Beauty pagents..why can\'t they choose to wear what they are comfomrtable in -for SPORTS? Lets not be crappy...but in India, women (any religion) are always judged by others and they have been brought up with what others think about them...and thats why they choose to cover themselves and rather than feeling \"uncomfortable\" being watched/stared/commented/judged.....
Forget what Sania has achieved for India (Apart from that fact), she wouldnt be playing Tennis if she was hesitant about the sports wear. And, please do not pity those Iranian women because they choose to lose rather than wearing tiny skirts...when they can choose to wear swim suits to win a beauty pagent...then why not in Sports? The ones covered from head to toe were scared of results after reaching home (even if they win the match)...they choose to live their lives for others.
Way of living life (by any religion)..the discipline in life..etc were appropriate at those times when it was formed...being stagnant at that era potrays lack of growth.
