With due respect to Mr.Shenoy, his article offers no backing of his claim as to why one should not condemn the Maulvi's article. It was not prudent for Sania to comment on such a silly issue and she did not do so not because ,as the author has mistakenly construed that she silently agreed.
As any woman living in a democracy, you crave and demand certain rights and no individual,Muslim or otherwise can dictate to you.One can only empathise with the hapless Iranian badminton women's team, for they have been so subjugated, nothing seems too extreme.
It would be wise for \'wise Indians\' like Mr.Shenoy not to propagate or endorse a madman\'s view of Islam.
No woman,no human being and no country should bow to such fanatics, least of all the media,Mr.Shenoy.
