I am surprised at the way the article has cleverly mixed issues in a cheeky manner. The media hype is not without a valid cause , which is that 'Sarabjit's case is a case of mistaken identity' and he is not what he is being accused as and getting hanged. Does the author expects the Media to keept quiet in a situation like this? The same media, I bet will recommend death penalty to Sarabjit , if he is really a terrorist as being claimed by Pakisthan.
Indian Media/Press is very mature and has never acted against 'National Interests'. It also never learned to get cowed down by threats from vested interests , both from within the country and from without. Everyone remembers the dark days of 'Emergency' and the role played by press/media.

You seem to be really oblivious of the media's role, barring a few like Indian Express, Cho Ramaswamy, etc., during the agency. Study well before declaring anyonbe guilty or innocent. A tall media personality famously quoted-" When asked to bow, the media crawled during the Emergency"
