India-US relationship
by auronan on Sep 15, 2005 02:58 PM   Permalink

Dear sir,
I have seen the message of David and Hari on the subject. What David says is correct;we need a better Govt. which is capable of exploiting the new US interest in India to India's advantage.Either the UPA or the NDA Govt. are not capable to even conceive such ideas. The way I conceive it, I think all the interest shown in multinationals starting operations in India is her sheer huge market that too a marketable market.David is correct in saying that multinational companies are not controlled by Govt. in US and they are independent; you can even say the other way about. It is a good subject every right thinking man has to ponder over. One last bid to add:
Once we were ruled by British and had lot of contact with them;we inherited many of our present habits from them-some may be good and some may be bad but overall it was not very bad and we did not lose much of our culture, but today we are having more contacts with US and I am afraid we may lose our culture more and very badly.
