Bihar Polls
by Dr. Tirath Garg on Oct 26, 2005 10:13 PM   Permalink

I strongly feel that high tech exit polls are going to eat an humble pie again because the writing is on the wall that this time also there is going to be a hung assembly. LJP will be the biggest loser followed by BJP to some extent. JDU, RJD and Congress are all set to gain. RJD will emerge as single largest party with 75-80 seats followed by JDU with 60-62. BJP will be still larger than Congress with 32-33 seats with Congress on 18-20. Remaining seats will be shared by independents, LJP, communists, BSP, NCP, SP etc. Bihar is all set for another round of bitter horsetrading with BJP-NDA abducting and alluring MLAs and Governor at receiving end, President as mute spectator. Will the SC intervene? Keep your fingers crossed.
