CONGRESS FEUDALISM
by MANISH CHANDRA GHILDIYAL on Oct 20, 2005 01:26 PM   Permalink

A very nice article...almost a mirroe reflection of my own thoughts.A nation moves ahead only when it is able to scout its best talent and handing over the power and responsibilities to them. I think thats where India has failed and its only due to Congress's obsession to Nehu-Gandhi family. These people were handed over nation's control when no one knows their ability. Sans Nehru, all other Gandhis reallt didn't have requisite expereince, talent and mental depth to lead sucha vast nation. Can you imagine a pilot being plucked out of air and thrusted as PM to 1 billion people. Its just the zenith of sycophancy.Indira didn't allow JP to become PM, the best India could had. This obseaaion to Gandhi family just didn't allow talent to come up. Just for an example, after PV Narsimha Rao Rajesh Pilot and Scindia were two best candidates for congress presidentship in terms of experiece and ability. But Sonia was handed over presidentship as for congressmen there is noone beyond Gandhis.A child takes birth in Gandhi family and entire party goes to touvh his/her feet. Wht is this nonsense...just moern form of medieval feudalism.
